So there I was, browsing the internet and minding my own business when suddenly...magically...the Amex Pre-qual site is on my browser. Go ahead and check i thought. Im pre-qualified for a few of their cards...cool right?
So im looking, see the Gold and the 60k MR points is appealing...the 6 months to meet spend is also appealing...so I thought...why not, its only 1 pull right?
Glad to say I was instantly approved!
Scores are around 760s to 780s across the 3 bureaus. 6 to 7 inquiries of which 5 were cards spread over this year. They pulled Experian. Utilization is low at 2%, one card is at 5%. No derogatory marks at all. Income is 65k.
