Got approved for the Bank of America Cash Rewards credit card with an $8,000.00 limit. My offer is for $200 bonus with 1k spend in 3 months. Signed up for the card because they kept sending me offers in the mail and I wanted a new 0% apr for 15 billing cycles on purchases.
Credit Cards with 0% apr on purchases are nice to have since if something unexpected comes up you can keep on investing and saving like normal and just put the couple of hundred or a few thousand dollar bill on the credit card and pay it off in a couple of months instead of raiding the savings accounts...it's basically an interest free loan for 15 months and I really like that.
Also like it's only 1k spend in 3 months for $200. I really don't like having to spend more than 1K in 3 months to hit a credit card bonus. I'm a frugal guy and really just don't normally spend 3k or more on credit cards in 90 days so this card works well for me. Set the 3% category to online shopping right now which is something I like about the card since you can choice your own 3% category and that is very nice.
