Apple books is not part of the streaming reward category according to Amex own website and my grocery store spend is usually less then $50 a month plus I'm probably going to the citi custom cash card for 5% in grocery store purchases. I also already get 5% back on gas with my Sam's Club mastercard so the BCP doesn't make any sense for me to get.
Oh ok! I haven't tested Apple Books yet but with that said hardly any of the things I'm currently getting 6% on from Apple are listed by Amex as streaming options either (iCloud storage, Apple Arcade, Apple News Plus, Apple Fitness Plus, iTunes purchases, apps purchases, etc) but somehow every month they're giving me 6% back on them. So there's definitely a great chance Apple Books will be included too. That said I understand that it isn't a card you're interested in which is fair. I always say people should do what works best for them!
