The subject line says it all and I am literally in shock! I have a current Discover It card that had a $1600 starting limit, then they lowered my limit to $800 (for high usage on other cards a year ago) and now it's sitting at $1700. I checked their prequal site and it came back saying I was preapproved for two of their cards. I apped and got the 5-7 day message so I thought for sure it was a denial. Well today, I decided to check the status of my app and it says I am approved with a 12k starting limit! I am over the moon happy and will go to the garden to celebrate. Approved for my first AMEX a couple of days ago and now my 2nd Discover card! Happy Tuesday yall!

Congrats on the approval! I would recommend combining both cards and keeping the new one. This way, you can utilize the CB match for the whole year and not have to deal with 2 cards. Just my 2 cents.
