Approved for AMEX, another card with SP?

I was just approved for AMEX everyday with $2000 SL. Talked to the CR to see if they can do a manual review and give me a better SL but they refused.

Was going through the forum and saw, if I app today for another AMEX CC, it will be a soft pull. Is it true?

I want a revolving card, what card should I go for? if its a soft pull.

This is my first AMEX card so was wondering if they merge cards? If so, how long do I have to wait? Was thinking if I am approved for my second I can merge them before 60 days is up and ask for 3X CLI.

P.S was approved for CapOne Venture with $30K SL today too!

Congrats. And to my knowledge yes. You can get one Charge and one revolver the same day. I just got the gold last night and the Hilton Ascend today.

I got the two AmEx revolvers in my sig an hour apart - two revolvers can be done too although YMMV as always.

Read up on the rules with Amex. You can only get one increase on one card per 6 months. That pertains to all cards you may have. Also remember that 3x is not guaranteed just a general guideline.
