Just closed on my new house 2 hours ago (Yayyy) and immediately went to Amex to apply for my first Prime Card. Immediately approved for the Blue Cash Card with a $1000 SL.

Any harm in going for a charge card today? Can Amex give you two Experian inq’s in the same day?

From what I've seen, you will only have one HP for the BCE. Possibly a SP for the charge card, today or later.

Go for the amex charge. really no harm. at worst a hp. but should be sp for at least 5 days

As previously shared, you can go for the Amex "2 for 1"

using the same hard pull within 30 days. In addition,

forum members have also reported being approved

for 2 Amex revolvers and 1 charge card within 90 days.

With an EX 748 FICO score you shouldn't have a problem.
