Approved for BC Ring Now I have a dilemma

So I already have a BC Arr + but wanted the Ring after reading some member posts. Initially declined but then approved via recon. I was originally going to close the Arr + or downgrade to Arr as the AF is coming due soon.  I have a pen Fed travel rewards AX, CO Venture so I guess I am asking is there any reason to keep the Arr+ open?  If I close I can transfer CL to the Ring.

Congrats on getting your RIng - I just got approved too and it feels great to get this card for several reasons #1 APR, #2 Good SL, #3 its a pretty exclusive card that requires strong scores and history from a kinda of "picky" lender #4 no BT or cash advance fees per se ($3 I believe) which mirrors my CU cards.

Arrival+ is really only good for a sign on bonus. Beyond that there's little or no reason to use it over a Double Cash, Fidelity, Blispay, etc.

If you want to keep the tradeline you can downgrade to no fee Arrival or basic Rewards. If not, I'd just close it. Move the limit to the Ring if you want a larger limit for the Ring.

I OIF today will close the Arr + and ask the CL to be moved to the Ring. Thanks for the advice
