I have used OneMain in the past and saw an ad on credit karma offering me a 16% APR for a loan. It may not have been my best option but I took it. I closed on the loan today and during the closing it said I was pre-approved for a OneMain BrightWay credit card. I accepted without an additional pull on my credit. $3,000 starting limit, 26.99% APR, 1% Cashback, and after 6 payments I can chose either a CLI or a lower rate.
They offer 2 rewards credit cards. The basic one may or may not have an annual fee and the BrightWay+ has no annual fee with a credit line up to $3,000.

That's great! Congrats on your loan and new card!
Congratulations on your approval!!
I guess I am missing the uniqueness of a 16% loan and a 1% CB credit card. ?

@ptatohed - the OP wasn't discussing anything unique about the products they applied for. It's likely, given the alternatives, this was likely their best option. If that works for them (depending on their profile), that's perfectly fine.
Perhaps @TattnallTrio can provide more background (if they wish) as to why they selected these products.
I wanted to share this since we haven't really discussed the OneMain BrightWay card on here.
Congratulations on your Brightway card approval!!
