Thanks! I've been denied by Chase the last 3-4 years, tried to follow the advice of others. Finally when I start to get my credit back on track, I still didn't follow their advice. Haha! But at the end of the day, there are just some things we can't explain. Cheers.

Thank you! It was definitely hard; had to make more sacrifices and eat " ramen" instead of eating out for the past 2-3 months, but it definitely paid off. I'm better with budgeting and my overall finances because of it.

Adding for anyone who would be interested in another DP...

I got HP on both EQ and EX. Initially I thought it was just EX, since I was immediately notified when my application was first approved. However today I got the notification that EQ was also checked. I live in California, and heard this can happen; depending on your home state.

You're definitely an outlier given that you didn't apply in branch or online with a prequalified offer. Congrats on getting past their screen of over 5/24.
