After unfreezing my Ex, I went against my better judgement and applied for the Chase Freedom Flex (meant to apply for FU) on Friday night (7/2). I initially received the 2 weeks message when I called the automated line, and then it changed to the 7-10 day message (I never received an email).
Using that ever so helpful Chase "I didn't get an auto approval" diagram, I realized that I should thaw my EQ report. I thawed the report on 7/3 and waited.
I woke up to email from Chase on 7/5 asking me to call in because my EQ was frozen. I called in and confirmed that it was thawed. The representative said he'd send it to underwriting. I gave it ten minutes, then called the automated line and the message changed back to two weeks.
After three days of getting the two weeks message, I called in, held for two hours until I got someone on the line who confirmed that I could refreeze my EQ account and I was approved for $7600.
DPs:
EX inq: 1/6, 1/12 and 8/24
EQ inq: 1/6, 1/12 and 2/24
Congratulations on your approval!!

@Anonymous - Yes I want in with Chase so using a headset, I could afford to hold while I worked.
