Happy to report that I was approved for the Chase Freedom Unlimited with a $4,500 SL. I was looking for a VISA that had more to offer than my Cash+ (my only other rewards VISA that I have), and I am very happy that I was approved.
I also got a decent $1,250 CLI on my discover to bring my total with them to $11,250, my highest limit of any card. And after years of having my Cash+, US Bank finally decided to give me a measly $1,500 CLI, to bring my total limit with them to $3,000.
I am VERY surprised that I was approved for the Freedom unlimited as I have recently got a car loan (from Chase!), and my data points were not looking the best. Citibank recently denied me the Costco VISA card which left me extremely disappointed as I go to Costco multiple times a week, and me and my family spends upwards of $2500 there every month. To say the least, I really wanted the card, that one hurt!
Data points for anyone curious: TU 730, EX 717. Chase pulled TU and EX and I was approved instantly. Citibank only pulled EX and instantly denied me (I will weep over this one for quite some time).
