I waited 3 months since my last HP and applied online for Chase IHG this morning; approved immediately with $2,000 CL. I'm pretty happy since my credit is pretty new (oldest card is CapOne Quicksilver one from March 2018, after that, Amex ED from Aug. 2018), and Amex has not been showing me much love lately, including denying me any CLI on the ED after 61 days.
At the time I applied, I had EX 713 and EQ/TU 674; Chase pulled both EX and EQ (I'm in California). I put a lot of spend on my cards, but official utilization is always 1%; I PIF all except one card before the statements hit. Income is high five figures. I've banked with Chase since April 2018; this is my first card with them. SUB is 80k IHG points after $2k spend...piece of cake, as I'm leaving on a two month Asia trip at the end of November. No more apps for me now until my sole Amex card is at least a solid year old (and my new IHG is 9 months old).
Congrats on your Chase IHG Premier approval!
Congrats i picked up this card in Aug with the 100K SUB.
Yeah, would have been nice to get the 100k, but 80k is pretty respectable too, haha. I've been doing a bunch of promotions with them too, lately, and the points are racking up fast.
Congrats on the approval and enjoy the trip!
