Approved for Chase Marriott!!! $5K!!

I am finally in with Chase!!! I was approved for the Chase Marriott rewards card with a $5k limit!!!

I got the 30 days email, and when I called the credit app number, I received the "2 weeks message". So I decided to call the fraud/verification department, as someone suggested in another post. I was put on hold for 5 minutes, and had to verify a code sent via text message...after that she came back and said I was approved!

I was denied the Chase freedom earlier this month. I went to recon yesterday and they told me that there is no way to override the rule regarding too many open accounts in the past 24 months. She made a point to say "but this only applied to the freedom, sapphire, and slate." So I took it as a hint LOL.

I'm done applying for creidt cards for a while now.
