Approved for Citi AAdvantage Miles

Responded to a "pre-selected" mailer last night and initially got the 7-10 message. Noticed a discrepancy in the letter with my name so I called in this morning and after some identity verification questions I was approved for $5400 SL meh...

Havent seen a HP yet but assuming they pulled EX these are my stats before app:

Score: 716

Util: 18%

AAoA: 4 yrs 4 mo

Newest: 4 mo

Last 12 mo: 1TL

Inq: 2

The Citi DC is my non-category card, I run between 500-1k every month PIF so I kinda have some relationship. I'm considering attempting a SL recon, my EQ is similar with only 1 Inq but I have a couple of questions:

1. Is it worth it? What increase should I expect

2. Should I do it now or wait after card activation

If you wanna throw in your 2 cents:

my signature is updated, what card should I go for next? keep building what I have? garden? My focus is cash access, BT happy TLs preferred

CongratsSmiley Happy  looking at your siggy, it seems on point more or less for your profile. Citi isnt known for high sl though yours certainly isnt low. Plus you already have a 10k Citi card that cuts into your exposure.recon is possible but at cost of another hp, i wouldnt do it. You can build up yourlimit through sp increases every 6 months if your income and profile support it.

Lol, Citi likes their name discrepancies,  i had issues tooSmiley Wink

Congratulations on your approval! I'd say happy travels, but highly inappropriate at the moment.

I have the blue "request a cli" link on both of my BOA cards, I know those cost a HP, do you think I'm already overexposed with them or could it worth it? I'm getting an offer for their travel rewards card whenever I log out so idk if thats a sign that I still got room with them. Thanks.
