Approved for Citi Double Cash

I’ve been Gardening for a bit but, last week I decided to apply for the Citi rewards+, and 2 days later applied for Citi Double Cash. Just an fyi I did receive a invitation in the mail for the past few weeks and didn’t feel comfortable applying cause I didn’t expect my credit to be that great. But to my surprise I got approved for 5k on the rewards and 8k on Double Cash. Little history I lost a majority of my income back in the real estate bubble. So with that said I couldn’t pay my credit cards in the tune of in excess of 100k. With that all behind me I opened up a Capital One card not secured with a 750.00 limit and now 4 years later I’m up to 5k. So I’m moving right along in the right direction I believe. Does anyone have any pointers on whether I should garden some more or apply for some other cards?

Congrats on your approvals! As far as pointers - without knowing any other information such as AAoA, if you did a BK and if and which lenders are were IIB, currently limits, etc. As far as any current advice, I prefer to be conservative and would say it would be good to garden unless you have some specific cards that you are targeting. With more info, we could give better advice.

I never filed bankruptcy at all just let nature take its course. My limits are as follows CO- 5k, 5/3 TS-5k, 5/3 Trio 10k, Barclay 1k. Fico 8 Experian 715, Transunion 670, Equifax 680. Question how do I put my cards on the bottom like you have posted?

I am pretty sure that you have to be an "Established Member" before you can add pictures.

It seems like you have a nice portofolio and picked up 2 cards with Citi. Stay in the garden and revisit your portfolio in 12-24 months. No need to rock the boat by getting app-happy
