I was approved yesterday for a DCU VISA. And now they want me to add my membership.
I can't for the life of me figure out how to do it?
Yesterday, I established my login ID, password, security questions, security image and I can currently view my Credit card app and approval with my CL and what not?
Is that not my membership?
A lady emailed me today and just said to go to the site and complete my membership? Can't figure it out. HELP!!!
i think you are talking about the check loan status site. have you received your 7 digit member number? to check status of loan and to complete membership (sign in for first time) are two different things. you need member number to complete membership
Ah, you did the in the reverse order I did. I did the membership application, which created my member ID. This allowed me to attach my member ID to my CC/Auto loan apps. You should be able to just start a new membership from their main page, or try calling in so they can walk you though how to link your VISA account to your banking membership account.

No, I applied and was approved for the CC instantly online. Today, I got an email asking me to join as a member to complete my CC transaction/account.
I understand I have to basically make a donation to one of the organizations that they have listed...I'm lookng at them now...
One of the orgs said to mail in my donation, etc....gotta be a faster way.
i joined thru a family member so my membership app was approved instantly.

Whatever the school one is..Reach out something something? Just select that program, and the membership application gives you the option later to fund it while you're funding your checking/savings

Here's the email I received earlier today:
You have been approved for our DCU Platinum Visa credit card. The only requirement is that you open a membership with DCU. You can accomplish this by visiting our website. Once the membership is open, please email me and I will be happy to complete the transaction. Thank you for choosing DCU for your financial needs.
I just joined, registered and donated to AAPD....one of the orgainizations that is affiliated with DCU, whereas if I became affiliated with said organization/charity then I would be able to become a member.....
Guess I can just forward my donation receipt/info from AAPD to the lady from DCU that emailed me? Instructions and what to do are very vague.
When you go to the main website and look to the upper left, there is a link for "open accounts" and then right under if you click "checking" then it takes you right to the application. Did you do that? If not then I would think they should be able to open it over the phone....hopefully!
I got it. Had to call...wow, very confusing for sure but CS was great.
I opened a checking and savings as well.
Made a donation to a DCU affiliated organization.
Had to send copy of I.D.
Also, I was informed that I qualified for a $25K car loan and another VISA with a $5K CL on top of the $10K VISA that I was just approved for.
My dumb*** said, no thanks....Did I seriously just screw up? My brain was fried and I felt a bit anxious to just get off the phone.
