Not sure about the 2nd HP.  The one HP showed up on EQ along with Discover and US Bank that I app'd for yesterday.  That makes it 4 on EQ.

And 2 HP's  on TU from the Paypal Extra Master and Lowes from app'ing yesterday.  None on EX.  So a total of 6.

 

So, I'm not too concerned about an extra HP.  I'm not only in the garden, i'm in the whole plantation anyway.

 

If they were offering me another $5k card right now, is there a reason why I should not have taken it?  Or any reason why I shouldn't call them tomorrow and tell them to go ahead and send it with the $10k card?

Well I would say only take if you need it, however since high limits gets higher limits, and if that's one of your goals then I would take it.  Just depends on what you want.

BTW, the rate on the DCU $10K card is 8.5%.  My CU(General Electric) gave me $3500 at 8.99%.

Don't NEED any of them in reality.  Hell, I've been stuck with a $500 Cap One for the last 3 yrs untl I got my lst big-ish limit $3500 card a month ago.

 

I do need a good rounded portfolio of credit for that house in 2014 though.
