Approved for Target Card after Target charge off

I came across bad times in 2008, 2009 and my Target Red card was charged off in 2009. It stayed on my credit for about 5 years then it came off. I was curious to know if I would get approved for their card since my credit troubles are mostly fixed. My CL back then was 300. I just got approved for their card with a CL Of 2000. I'm so excited. I'll make sure to be good this time around. When I was younger I was very irresponsible with credit. I have learned since.

Had you paid the chargeoff in full? And yeah, in 2008 I didn't know anything about credit. If only I had gotten my start back then! Where I would be today FICO wise! Oh well, you live, you learn! That's life!

Grats on your approval!  I also had a target card charged off in 2009. It's come off my reports already but I thought TD Bank blacklists people that have a charge off with them. It's nice to know that if I want a target card again in the future, I might be approved.
