After hearing all of the CLIs given by Target, I decided to apply online. I was approved for a "temporary limit" of $300 for 10 days. Can some of the cardholders here help me?
1. Is the temporary limit normally increased upon receiving card in mail?
2. The card number given to me has 16 digits and starts with a 5. Is that a redcard or a Mastercard?
3. Has customer service improved lately?
Thanks in advance!
CONGRATULATIONS! The Red cards are 16 digits and they do start with a 5. Ofcourse MC does too, but I bet its a red card. I don't know about the temporary limit. Sounds like something they would raise you when you get the card.

Thank you for the well wishes and the info!
$300 sounds like a typical starting limit for Target and not just a temp one. Target seems to be lightening up recently on there CLs. Hopefully yours will grow faster then mine

First, congratulations! Second, unless something has changed with Target/TD, their MC is not available to new applicants and the existing RedCard holders can be upgraded to the MC (usually with much higher limits). This seems to be a RedCard, not the MC. If so, maintain the account well and hopefully it will upgrade to the MC.
Thank you all for the replies. I will take care of it and use it frequently. I hope it grows quickly.
