I know this has been mentioned several times in the forums, but I thought I would take a moment to add my data points. I have often thought about applying for the CSP card in the past but I was under the impression I had to wait due to chase 5/24 rules. I never could get any pre-qualified offers from the chase site. Fortunately, thanks to my fico forums I found out that you could go in branch to see if you have any pre approvals. Well I went in today and found out I was pre-approved for the freedom unlimited, the slate, the CSP an the CSR. So I figured if I was going to risk a hard pull then I would go for the CSR since I plan to travel soon and the travel credit would be of good use. Also the extra credit line having a visa infinite card would help decrease my utilization. I also should mention that I have banked with chase for about 6 years and I already have the chase Freedom card with a $2000 limit. Thanks so much for all the help I have recieved from the forums.
