What do you folks think, should I keep my IT open? It will not get used as I have better options for Gas and Restaurants. It will certainly be stuck at $1.5k into eternity or until they close it. I have enough CLI denial letter to wallpaper an average bedroom.
I suppose waiting until the new card is active would be best.

I would do that certainly. I have read about doing that and there seems to be mixed opinions.
I would want to keep the Cash Card though. The IT had use during that first year due to the double cash and being pre Covid but it hasn't made sense to use it more than for a Cup of Joe every couple months since as I have better options.
