I was a little bored at work today and decided that I wanted to check for any possibility of a pre-approval for the Cap One Walmart Rewards MasterCard. I was pre-approved (curiosity peaked) I went for it and received a $500 SL. I was pleased, but I sincerely hope that CLI's can happen with this card. I have a Quicksilver that I PC'd from a Platinum last month at $800.
I wonder now, with this approval if it's time to let go of an AF Credit One card or an AF Reflex (Continental Finance) card that I've only had for a few months in hopes that I can grow my Cap cards. I know they're stingy. I am done apping for awhile now. Time to garden, I think.
Congratulations on your Cap1 Walmart approval
Grats on your new Walmart card!
As far as closing out your AF cards I wouldnt do so now but wait until the 1 yr mark and then close prior to the new AF assessment. You paid for them so you might as well get use out of them.
