I paid off a large balance on my NFCU platinum card last month and decided to ask what I needed to do to bring the APR down from 10.99 to 5.99. I sent that email off this morning. I just got a response that they reviewed my account and granted my request to reduce my APR on this card to 5.99%. When I checked, they ALSO gave me a CLI of 4k taking my card from 28 to 32k. I didn't even ask for the CLI!! Talk about going above and beyond, Navy really hit the mark here!
