Avant instant approval with $3K SL

I've been getting their offers ever since my Ch7 was discharged 2 years ago but today I got one that has zero fees and 1% Cash Back on every purchase.    The qualify and SL is done with a soft pull and it stated I qualified for the $3K CL but they needed to have me verify a couple of things (my email.. that was ALL I had to veryify)!  so as soon as I verified I got the 'a representitive is reviewing your application and you will receive a decision within 24 hours.  As I was closing out that tab, an email alert popped up that it was approved and my Avant Cash Back Rewards card with the $3K SL was on it's way and I should receive it in 5-7 business days.  My rebuilding is as far as I can get it for now so back into the garden I go for awhile!

*They pulled TU (after I accepted the offered card and amount).  I have no idea what my Scores are currently on  TU, but I believe it's close with my  EX Fico8 which is 680.

*No baddies other than the BK7

*utilization is currently about 45%

(Thank you)!  You can check what they will offer you and they do a soft pull.  Then if you want to accept the offer, then they will do a HP.  For me that was TU

I have a theory. Of course before I applied I did a little research and I read MANY reviews on places like Bankrate, Forbes, even Time about it from their credit card 'experts'.  There were only 3 things they could note as Cons about the Avant card:  1. Annual fees as high as $59.  2. SL $300-$1000 with $300 being the most common, and  3. No rewards at all.  These were all recent reviews by some top groups so I have to wonder if Avant is maybe using this feedback?
