It had been over a week since I apped fro their Trio w no reply at all: no letter, email, let alone the card, confirming even my application.
Called today.
Approved.
I asked what the interest rate and CL were.
Rep says "14.9% and you have $3000 to spend but I CANT tell you what your CL is."
I said, disappointedly, "isnt $3000 to spend my credit limit?"
CSR: "no"
Me: "so thats my 'available for cash' limit?"
CSR: "NO. Thats your available to spend, today---I dont have access to your CL---thats in the docs youll receive by 6-16-17."
Me:. "Ok. Thanks. Bye".
Is it me!? Can anyone explain what just happened or what the difference is? BTW this is my first exposure to 5/3.
Thanks.
I second calling fifth third first unless it's the fourth then I wouldn't be on seventh heaven.
Can you tell their name gives me a headache?

Sounds like they're giving you a temporary limit until you actually get the card in the mail? Maybe for online shopping or mobile wallet, if you can add it from the website? I don't have personal experience with 5/3rds but that's what it sounds like to me.
Update 6-9:
Checked my credit this morning and theres a new tradeline: 5/3 for $3000---very disappointing.
Cant wait to see my card's info package?!
