B of A CLI... Declined...Declined...Approved

Had my Cash Rewards Visa with B of A since 2012. Started out at $1,000 secured card after going through a BK in 2011. Graduated in 2013 to $2,000. Couldn’t get a CLI until 2017 to $5,000 then again to $10,000 in 2018. After they started the soft pull program the button popped up in November 2018 I requested to go to $30,000 to match some of my other lines. Got a counter offer in the mail to $15,000.

Starting in February 2019 the button popped up again. Requested to go to $30,000 again. Declined (to many recent inquiries). March statement comes button is still there request to go to $25,000. Declined (to many recent inquiries). April statement just cut off, requested a CLI to $25,000 received the “we need more time to review”. Fast forward 3 days and I woke up to an email “congratulations your CLI request has been approved”. Im now at the $25,000 mark.

Stats:
Fico 728
Income $240k
Total CL’s: $350k+
Total CC balances: $14,000 (new windows @0% for 18 months)
Bank of America Platinum Honors client.

Wow, congrats. I am in the same boat as you, i keep trying every month and the button never disappears and keeps saying too many inquiries on same account. They had never given me a CLI since 2015 when i opened the account as a secured card and it is still stuck at 500. Do you use your card very often?

I average about $300-$400 a month spend on the card. Usually only in my 5.25% catagory. Although I went to Vegas in February and spent closer to $1500 on it.
