I was 5 months post 7 BK disch. When I applied I got the 7-10 day letter and thought, "Well, that's a no". Phone rang about 10 min later and lo and behold it was the nicest woman from Barclays wanting to verify if I had applied. I confirmed that I had and she verified some info. She was able to approve a small starting line of $500, which I was rather impressed with when I later realized they pulled TU. This is the lowest of my scores (by nearly 40 points) TU was a 595. I had about 8 inq on my record (5 from from a car purchase right after discharge) Hope this helps 'big picture'-wise for someone.
