On Saturday, I called the number on the back of my credit card to request a CLI knowing it would be a HP. I asked for my CL to be increased to $20,000. I provided the CSR will the usual information they ask. She informed me that this will require a HP. I said, "Please go ahead." She gave me two options, 1) the instant computer generated CLI of $1,700 or 2) send it in for manual review. Based on another thread, I said, "Please forward to your UW." She told me, I would know in 3-5 business days. I thanked her.
This morning, I saw alerts that my TransUnion CR was pulled. I checked my BBVA account and received the full amount requested. 
- Opened on 2/19
- Starting Limit was $11,200
- No auto-CLI for me that others reported
- Hard pull on TU, FICO 8 720
- Utilization at ~1%
- New credit limit is $20,000
I use my BBVA card to pay for utilities at 3% and other random stuff, usually ~$400-600/month. Unless I have a 0% offer, it's PIF. I really like this card.

Very nice boost. Sometimes it works out to be patient and let the manual process happen. Worse case is they countered but it would have probably been more than the $1700 so doesn't hurt at all.

Probably. The CSR confirmed if I was okay with the HP before she submitted my information for their initial CLI offer.
