Thank you @BrutalBodyShots, I thought I would test my luck today and I must be on the 5k gravy train with Amex.
$34500 to $39500 today at 182 days to make sure.
Started by asking for 50k and backed out of the page all the way down to 40k with every request asking for IV.
All my credit reports are frozen and I hope to never use 40k on one card or I am sure they would have given me 40-50k
Typed $39500 and instant approval, refreshed the screen and instantly available.
One of these times I might try to make it an even number just because I am a little OCD but alot of my cards are odd numbers so maybe its good luck.
I wanted everyone to know because it seems all of us eventually get there with Amex.
When do you guys stop asking for CLI's from Amex?
Scores - around 780
Combined Incomes - around 100k
UTI - $300-400 on this card - around 2% on all my cards
Why not try for the increase, unless your satisfied with 30k? The worst that will happen is you will get denied or asked for IV. If asked for a IV then back out and ask for less.
When I was rebuilding I always wanted a card that was $5k, the more I improved my credit I always wanted a $20k card. Now my end goal is a $50k card.
Congrats on your CLI
Personally, the only way Im gonna get a $50k card is to be an AU

My BCE started at 1k. Its all about goals.
Thank you.
JamP, nice work with your CLI!
I'll continue to try for $5k CLIs with Amex every 6 month just for the heck of it. I really won't ever need a bigger line than what I already have, but I think it's still fun to try.
Very nice, congrats!!

Right now, I will say $100,000 for me, but please ask again once I hit that.
Congrats on the great line!
I told myself that $40k would be my goal with a single Amex line, but now that I've hit it I feel like $50k has a much nicer ring to it...
