Wow can't believe I'm back in with Discover after burning them for BK7 less than 6 years ago (Filed Dec. 2014, discharged April 2015). Experian sent me their quarterly credit-score update today so I decided to try Discover's pre-approval website and it said I was pre-approved for both the Cashback IT and Cashback IT Chrome with a 14.99% APR (not variable range, which is a supposedly pretty solid indicator). Checking their pre-approval site at the end of last year would end up in denial for status of previous relationship. I went with the regular IT Cashback card for quarterly 5% cashback in rotating categories. I also am hoping for the $75 SUB for applying through Amazon's website.
