Bank of America Cash Rewards Approval!

I thought I was pretty satisfied with my current credit card portfolio, but I guess I wasn’t completely done! I gave in and app’d for the BofA Cash Rewards and got approved with a 15k limit! Highest limit so far. Around these forums, i read that these are really great “grower” cards. Any input as to what that means? Thanks for any input!

Congrats! Very nice starting credit limit. The rewards program is quite good as is Bank Amerideals.

Bank of America can be quite generous with CLIs when given time and the right income.

I see a well grown 1FBUSA card in your profile. That was my first credit card at 18y1m old. Hopefully, they don’t charge just to pay your bill electronically anymore.

Yea they grow quick mine was opened in 2016 for 5K its 25K now mid Jan will hitting luv button asking for 50K.

Ahhh gotcha. Well hopefully they increase mine over time! How long should I wait before asking for an increase?

And yes, I’ve had my 1FBUSA card since I turned 18 as well.lol. They don’t charge me to pay electronically, however, they will not lower the interest rate AT ALL. So I just keep them because of the CL and it’s my oldest card. Other than that, they don’t really get much business from me lol.

Did you request the increase or was it automatic? Was it a HP?

I had one auto-CLI ($2000>$2900 on Cash Rewards) with BoA. The other was a hard pull request but it was definitely worth the hard pull.
