Today my 6th statement cut for my Barclay Apple Visa and when I logged in I saw my limit was increased from $1200 to $2200.
I didn't do anything special I just paid off my phone purchase in 4 months then PIF for the last 2 months... carrying a low balance each month. My first non-CapOne CLI since my discharge last year.
Thanks Barclay! Now please tell GECRB to quit soft pulling my reports from 6 months ago when I ask for an increase! LOL
Continuing to garden!
Very nice bump, congrats!

Grats on your increase
GECRB usually softs once a month if you have accounts with them.

I tried for an increase on both my gas cards as well as Walmart at the 4 month point and received a denial letter each time with my credit score that was dated early November... One of the reasons was "too few premium bankcard accounts" so I guess the $7k Visa I got in December doesn't count. I've heard all about GECRB but they haven't shown me any love yet...
Congrats on the new CLI!!!

I get them same thing from GECRB. I guess my Chase and Barclay accounts don't count as "premium".

Congrats on your CLI
On the front page of my statement:
CONGRATULATIONS!
Because you have managed your account responsibly, we've increased your credit line to $2,200.00. This increase is effective right away, so it is available to you now. We hope this increase makes it easier and more convenient to use your Barclaycard Financing Visa Card for all of your purchases.
I also got an email with a $25 statement credit on my next Apple purchase over $1000 that must be used by the end of the month...
Do I have to? LOL
congrats
Congrats! Thanks for sharing.
