I just wanted to share a bit of good news for those looking for that silver lining after bankruptcy. I was approved today for Barclays apple visa SL $1500 and my chapter 7 was discharged 2/2018. I was very hesitant to apply but said what the heck after a bit of research. I have the following cards:
Capital one platinum limit 400
Discover IT secured limit 200
Credit one limit 500 (thinking of closing, ugly fees)
Firestone limit 1000
Children's place limit 500

I've heard that they pull TransUnion. Can you confirm? They are next on my list, but I think I will wait until November or December before applying. I heard that Goldman Sachs is taking over Apple Credit next year and I'm sure I wouldn't qualify for them. LOL
Congratulations! I'm thinking of applying myself because I have a purchase to make and wouldn't mind subsidizing it for rewards. . .
