Barclay's 10-day Message: APPROVED

My TU has soared and while I know I should be in the garden, I stepped out and apped for the NFL Extra Points Visa Signature card. $1,300 SL. I did not receive instant approval and thought it was denied. I got an email today saying it was a 10-day review and saw lots of posts to call the recon line. It was just verification and I got approved!

I also tripped into a Marvel card with $1,500 SL. I am looking forward to growth on this one. It doesn't seem as if Barclay's has a ton of potential, but I'm happy to diversify. I got no love from CapOne but did combine my QS and QS1 for a $2,600 total limit

In a couple months I plan to prune some of my store cards and likely Merrick too.

barclay is good about recon's actually. Id give there back door number (to credit department) a call. They doubled my initial credit line the day I was approved, as well as in 6 months when I applied for an increase that was declined, reconed that one to double my credit line.

Thanks so much everyone! I was iffy on apping for a Barclay's card with so many people reporting AA with them. I'll just be real conservative with that card. Exciting about the $100 bonus though for $500 spend in the first 90 days.

Oh get this. I get an email a couple hours later saying "congrats...STEELERS card". I'm seeing red! Steelers?!? No way!

I was able to call and get it switched. I've been a Dallas fan since before I could talk!!! :-D
