Since I had a Wyndham frequent hotel account (Diamond level) and since I also had Barclay's Apple Rewards card that is never used anymore since the Apple Card took over.

I got approved for a Barclay's Wyndham Visa Signature card at $5,000 CL within 10 seconds of applying on the Barclay's mobile app.

Plus after $1K in spend, I got 30,000 points enough for a night stay!

Congrats and thank you for the info!

This is not the most popular card aroumd here, so DPs are hard to find.

We utilize Wyndham almost exclusively racking up loads of points every year (also Diamond member for years). This ranks pretty high on our goal card list, omce we wrap up our rebuilds later this year, so if you don't mind, are you willing to share any other DPs on your approval? Scores?

Thanks and again, congrats! Now you will be really racking up those points quick! I think the earning rates are pretty sweet!!

Re: Barclay's Wyndham Rewards Earner Card

TU: 730

EX: 720

EQ: 690

Last card applied was Synchrony B&H Photo card year ago.

I had no idea this was an obscure card to get.

The offer for the Earner and Earner+ card came in the mail (30K point) from Wyndham, at first I thought it was an obscure bank, but it was issued by Barclay's.

So I looked at my mobile apps and found that I had points from Wyndham at Diamond level and noticed that I also had 2 Barclay's accounts:

  • Frontier Airlines ($3K CL) which I used to fly domestically until Delta came into the picture (Amex Plat) - forgot I had 60K miles for 2 R/T flights left in my Frontier miles....
  • Apple Rewards ($3K CL) which I used to get free Apple gift cards before the Apple Card by GS took over - is stuck in the unused drawer too.

Before I applied, I did check my FICO score on the Barclay's Card app and since it was 730, I thought why not.

10 seconds later, automatic approval for $5K.

I chose the no AF (Earner) instead of the Earner+ which was $75 annually.

Will be using the Wyndham points (30K) for 2-3 nights at National Park trip soon (after we all get immunized)....
