I'm fairly new to credit. Got my first card last June (13) and second card this May (14). I was applying for a new apartment last week and in the process found out that in just a little over a year my credit score had gone from the mid 600's to an average of 760! My wife and I love to travel, so I've had my eye on the new Barclays Arrival+ card with its flat rate 2x rewards, chip & pin, MC World Elite status, and no foreign transaction fees. The 40,000 points ($400) bonus is definitely a plus as well. I didn't think I'd qualify, but when I saw that score last week, I had to put in an app. I was just instantly approved with a CL of $3500! It's a little less than the $5000 I was hoping for (since I got that from Bank of America in May), but maybe I can get an increase in a few months. Either way, with that score, a MCWE and Visa Sig, and $10,000 in credit to my name after just 13 months, I'm feeling pretty good!
Congrats! Thanks for sharing.
