I recently applied for both the Aviator Red from barclays for the 60,000 bonus points and for the citi diamond preferred because I was pre approved and I want to finance a big purchase with the 21 month 0% promo. I have a total of 6 accounts opened in the last 2 years with a utilization of 13% and no negative marks. TU 718 EX 709
I was instantly approved for the aviator red with a limit of $5,400, which is my second highest limit, but, to my surprise, I received a pending review for the citi application. I honestly thought that it was going to be the other way around. I called citi to check the application status and I was told by the automated system that it was pending review and needed to provide information. Any idea what it could be about?
