Barclays Card Approved after Recon

I had applied online for the Barclays Miles and More World Elite MasterCard and was initially rejected. After searching other people's experiences I decided to give them a call and see if they would reconsider. They were super polite, asked me a few questions (mostly about my unusual credit history - I had been an authorized card user for ~10 years, but got my first card on my name after a year and a half upon completing lengthily grad school).

Got approved at 4K which is about what I need. They pull TU which was at 760.

Overall excellent experience. Don't be discouraged upon first rejection and ask for Recon.
