I'm 33. I started rebuilding my credit in 2019. I may have even been in the 500s at that time. Now my EX needs work at 638, TU 690, EQ714. I got approved for the Citi Simplicity card for $11k. Card has no rewards but this is the highest I have ever been approved for!
Congrats on a "Simple" Approval🤗🥳🎉
Welcome to the forums!
2019? Why are the scores so low. But what a terrific SL, jealous! 👍

I made some really poor credit card/financial decisions in my early 20s. I had to wait the 7 years for them to fall off. I also had student loans go into default but I reconsolidated them, are now in good standing and about to be paid off.
@chelle88 CONGRATS huge move - did u prequalify for the card or did you cold app?
Congratulations on your Citi Simplicity approval!
Congrats to you on both your approval and your rebuild. I believe later on you may be eligible to convert your simplicity card to another citi card product if you so desire so it's a big win alright.
That's awesome, congrats to you.

@Anonymous , It just goes to show, that scores alone ...are not the holy grail.
