So, clearly I should NOT app when I'm severely distracted!! Apped for Blispay Friday night (initially applied in April, and was declined--system didn't allow me to reapp until after 60 days)--immediately gave me the screen that I needed to give them a call. I talked with them Friday evening, very close to when they were getting ready to close for the weekend. I made a typo in my name when I first applied (how embarrassing!), so they took me through a series of questions, asked me to name at least two accounts on my credit report, and said they would put my file through to the credit department for review. They said to expect a decision in the mail.
Fast forward to this morning. I called again just to check to see whether it was still pending. Good thing I did! The CSR I talked with looked at my file and said that she saw I called in Friday night but it looked like the credit analyst who reviewed my file didn't see the notes, correcting my name. So it was rejected! She said she would make sure this was reviewed right away and said to expect an EMAIL (not a letter in the mail, this time), by end of week, she said probably sooner. She stopped herself a few times before saying the word 'approval'. Not sure if that means anything, or not, but she sounded very positive.
I'm leaning towards this might be an approval this time (EX is now higher than when I app'd before, and utilization down below 20% now), so, fingers crossed! I know there are a few on this board who are in limbo land as well. I'll report back as soon as I have a definite 'yah' or 'nah'!!
