Congrats to you on your increase...I too requested a CLI from Bloomingdales yesterday and they bumped me to $6K after I asked for $10K. I opened it in March @ $300 then requested an increase later that month and they raised it to $1K and all soft pulls. Now Macy's started me @ $300 and when I requested a CLI they hard pulled EQ and raised it to the $3K I asked for. The threshold for the Amex version is EX 650 at least that's what the rep at Macy's told me and you do have to apply in store for that. As a note Bloomingdale's used my EQ (650) report from 3/16 to approve the increase and I only used the card twice ($100 each time) and paid in full. I hope this helps...

Thanks so much! And a big congrats to you on your increases! I really appreciate the info as well regarding the Amex! I'm going to try the conversion in the next few days! Fingers crossed.
So so far no alerts from my CLI requests for Macy's or Bloomingdales. Hopefully it stays that way!
Thank you!! To answer your question, I actually did my CLI request online. They came back an hour later with an approval! You can also call customer service as well, the number on your card, as another poster mentioned. Good luck on your increase!
