Hello All! Hope everyone is well & safe! It's been a while since I posted, due to reasons on the home front, but I thought I'd post this one for the data and because it was a personal accomplishment.
I decided earlier this month I was going to go for my first 50k limit and try it with BoA. My Cash Rewards Visa currently sat at 35k. So knowing I was going to do this, compared to my norm, I ran more transacations on this card in December and let about 2k post when the statement cut a few days ago on the 22nd. Usually, I PIF and I never run that much through one card vs spreading the wealth. The $25 min due for 1/19/21 showed up and I immediately paid $100 towards it on purpose the other day.
Then, I debated if I should hit the button or wait and let the next cycle hit and show them I could pay it all, then go for it. I went for it this afternoon and requested a CLI to 50K. Literally about 5 seconds after with not much fanfare...approved! I was certainly expecting a counter from them, if not the dreaded 7-10 days message or whatever. It almost made me wonder if I left anything on the table, but I was certainly happy with the outcome, and didn't even want to bother with backing out and trying other amounts to poke the bear. I'm still shaking my head in amazement about the things I've learned in these forums here in the last several years, and what I've done with that info. Most of this stuff I would've never been able to accomplish or likely wouldn't have even known about or how to navigate if it wasn't for the people here. I'm always thankful for that
*My last request - 1.27.20 approved +2.5K bump
*Not huge spend on the card. Usually a few hundred here or there, with the exception of this month, as noted above.
*Growth on the card 1/16(1k) --> 4/16(3k) --> 7/17(7k) --> 6.10.18(13k) --> 12.2.18(22k) --> 3/19(32.5k) --> 1/20(35k) --> Today

Congrats
BOA is very generous with this cash rewards card.
I am tempted to say on average this card gives the highest credit line of all the credit cards - more than any card from chase , Amex, citi
Congrats and thanks for the DP's!
Wow, from a 1k starter to 50K, excellent and a big grats to you

It's interesting because there was a time early on where it seemed like I struggled to get movement with them compared to some of my other cards. I never would've thought they would become my highest limit card.

Thank you! I know. It's still hard to believe how far this card has come. But then again, the whole journey has been unbelievable really. I'm sure many can relate.
