BofA Better Balance Rewards approved!

What a great day. I have been eyeing the BofA BBR since it came out last month. I have a banking relationship with BofA but none of their credit cards. The extra $120 a year sounded too good to pass up so I bit the bullet despite vowing to remain in the garden...

Signed into online banking and submitted the application prefilled with my account info - not sure if that makes a difference in the approval process? Long wait and BAM...approved with $7500 CL!

Congrats. Looks like a cool card might try it when I come out of the garden although I have the cash rewards for them but its good because I always pay more than the minimum

Thanks everyone! The card seems designed for someone who carries a balance or does a BT but I do neither. The terms are simply that you have to let a balance report each month and make at least the minimum payment and you get the rewards each quarter. I already have a set of cards I use for everyday spending so I plan to only autopay some bills on this card. Cash Rewards is a great card too but I already have the BCE which gets similar rewards.

Congrats!! I have really been looking at this card too. I want a mastercard and I bank with boa so it's so easy to pay each week by just transferring funds. I have the 99/500 with them so I wonder if I can app for another boa card with them before that one unsecures in a few months??? This is the first instand approval I have seen for it. I'm on my cell so I can see your scores if you have them posted but what are they right now?

BofA pulls EX. I'm not sure what my EX FICO is but my TU FICO is 752. I have 0 inq on EX in the past year, a few from 2 years ago that are about to drop off. I'm not sure what the 99/500 is but I would wait until it unsecures before applying for another card with them.
