I got the Cash Rewards credit card in 2013 with a credit limit of $6000. Have never asked for an increase.
In preparation for switching to Unlimited Cash Rewards and using the 0% for 15 months promotion, I wanted a higher limit.
Fico Transunion 754, Credit usage 11%. (100% payments on time, never a negative report.)
Asked for $25000 credit limit. Within a minute I was approved for $13000.
(Also wanted to get this done before some large 0% balance transfers [some of which were really transfers to my bank account] report tomorrow which will take credit usage to 19%)
