Thanks very much @greatscott85, @Anonymous, @Irv02!

Yes, @greatscott85, this is yet another example of the potential rewards for sticking it out with a lender for the long haul instead of always chasing the latest and greatest SUB or marginal increase in rewards.   Large, established credit limits are a true asset to a credit file.

Re: Broke $50K with Discover!

So just a handful of folks over 50,000.

I will be happy at $25000 for myself.

Yes, at least that's all I could find in a couple of searches, @NoMoreE46.  Not saying that there weren't more, but I just didn't find the evidence.  However, there were vague posts about "numerous" over $50K and some even higher than $75K, which made me believe there may be more data points buried.  If you or someone else turns up more, I'd be interested in seeing them and adding to the list for reference.  Smiley Happy

Yes, $25K is a healthy credit limit for Discover ... and most cards ... for most people!  My personal goal a couple of years ago was to increase all my limits to "at least" $25K.  I had a few higher but not even as high as $50K.  Now, I'm trying to get multiple $50K+ limits and hope to add a few more by the end of 2022!  From three to six or more ... Smiley LOL

Re: Broke $50K with Discover!

@cashorcharge  & @NoMoreE46   ...

Found three more data points on Discover cards

exceeding $50K ... one was VERY significant. Smiley Surprised

Member EW800 posted on 09-26>-2018:  New CLI to $73,700 with screen shot.

*Same member had multiple data points and screen shots on the way up to $73.7K

Member danmfe posted on 07-02-2017:  New CLI to $49,100 with screen shot.

*Member has been inactive since six days after this post so easily could have exceeded $50K by now.

Member stevez333 posted on 02-07-2019: New CLI to $51,000.

Re: Broke $50K with Discover!

Excellent sleuthing.

PS, it's been a task tying to keep up on all of your other CLI as well @Aim_High .

You are slapping the heck out of it in the Approvals  section.

It's amazing what you can find with a little patience and diligence digging around in the archives, @NoMoreE46

Lots of buried threads and data.

Yes, I'm on a roll .... seems like credit sometimes comes in spurts!

When it rains, it pours but I won't complain!  Smiley Very Happy
