CITI AAdvantage Executive WEMC approval - $30.5K

I've been in the garden for much of the past two years with 0/24 inquiries on all three CRBs.  (I had one AMEX personal card approval in 11/21 and one AMEX business card approval 09/22 but both were soft pulls.)  

I've had my eye on the CITI AAdvantage Executive World Elite Mastercard for awhile since I fly American and it seemed to be a good fit.   However, the SUB offer for the past two or more years has been lackluster, 50K points for $5K spend, which was the same number of points they offered on the Platinum Select ($95 AF) with only $2.5K spend.   I just posted about an enhanced limited-time SUB offer of 80K points for $5.5K spend as recognition of 35 years of AA-CITI partnership that I stumbled upon earlier today. 

I decided to go for it tonight since I didn't know how long the special offer would last.  CITI pulled EX and FICO 08 should have reported as 830.  I'm an existing CITI client with a Costco card ($42K CL) and earlier CITI cards that have since been closed. 

Approved  ... $30,500 SL and the lowest advertised APR of 18.99%

Congrats nice approval.  If fly AA and have airports with Admiral clubs a pretty good card to have.. Ocassionaly use them depending on airports I am going through.  Great SL for citi, enjoy!  Also didn't know it has bene two years since hp for you.. how times pases

Congrat for such a wonderful card....Isn't this card has AF of $450? If so, are they offering complimentary for the first year, and can this card be downgraded to no AF card after a year? How much this 80,000 miles would be if taken as statement credit? Thanks
