That is odd. I had a Amex Costco and on logging in was preapproved for BCE and accepted. I also automaticaly received the Citi card with the same limit and everything transferred over. The card didn't go away unti 6/20. Most people I feel had the same situation. Amex didn't close the card until 6/20. Did you close your TE before 6/20?
