CLI Success! (USAA, BofA and Amex)

Hi All,

It's been a few months since I've been on here so hope everyone is doing well. A few cards crossed their '6 months since last CLI' mark so I thought I'd start hitting those luv buttons!

USAA Limitless VS -- Approved from $15,000 to $30,000!

  • opened JAN 2017 at $5,000
  • CLI in JUL 2017 to $15,000
  • HP EQ 753 FICO 8
  • My other USAA card is $23k so this puts my exposure at $53k, not sure what their limit is

BofA Cash Rewards V (maybe now VS?)  -- Approved from $3,700 to $10,000!

  • this was my 99/500 card opened in 10/2015
  • it was VERY slow to grow ($1,500 after a year, $3,700 after 2 years)
  • I noticed the little blue link again and asked for $10k, TU HP 783 FICO 8 - instant online approval

SPG Amex -- Approved from $5,000 to $15,000!

  • opened OCT 2017
  • EX SP 761 FICO 8

Excellent--Congrats! Especially on USAA. I had always read they had a  cap of $50K on credits cards--but seeing that you have gone past that gives me some hope!

Big congrats CIC! And good to see you back in the fold. I’m going to be following your lead on my 2 USAA cards this spring and hitting them up for increases. Hopefully I will see similar results...Good data point on total exposure with them.

Congrats crack guy! You're the first I've seen post, that was able to break the $50k barrier with USAA. I wonder if this is something new?

Thanks Bruised! I'm pretty sure i'm at my limit since i just checked to see if i could CLI my 2nd card too. It does have the link and i'm able to click it, then it asks 'increase or decrease'? As soon as i hit increase it gave me the yellow banner with "please feel free to call us at 210-xxx-xxxx to complete your request" lol I'm in a good spot though!
