CSP approval - in-branch - $17,300 SL

Hi Everyone Smiley Happy first post here. I wanted to share my data points from yesterday's in-branch visit to app for the CSP. I wasn't super confident I'd get approved because I had recently gotten 3 cards since April. I figured Chase would see this as "credit seeking behavior" for sure. But I couldn't resist the new 100k SUB, especially with some upcoming home improvements that'll help me hit SUB spend pretty quickly.

I didn't have any offers in my Chase account, likely because I opted out at some point. I was ready to plead my case about why I wanted the card, but ended up not even needing to. I got auto approved! $17,300 at 17.99%

The banker didn't have the 100k SUB in her system, only the 80k with $50 grocery credit and AF waived for the first year. I heard that Chase will match the SUB if you applied in-branch while the 100k offer is active. She wasn't aware of that. I took what I could get, and sent a secure message to Chase after I left. I'll add to my post when I hear back.

They pulled both my Experian and Equifax reports. I'm in Washington State.

Scores at time of pull:
EX: 758 (FICO 6/7)
TU: 780 (FICO 5/24) 745 (Vantage 6/7)
EQ: 751 (Vantage 6/7)

Inquiries at time of pull:
EX: 4
TU: 3
EQ: 2

I was 4/24 out of 5/24 at time of pull. All 3 of the new cards are reporting. Clean profile. No lates or derogatories. 3-5% overall utilization. Pay in full every month unless there's a 0% intro APR, and even then I still try to PIF. Had a Chase checking and savings that I closed out back in 2012. Not sure if the previous accounts helped any.

Current cards:
Local CU Visa - $10,500 (3/12)
US Bank Fred Meyer Rewards - $21,500 (1/15)
Local CU Visa (joint) - $1,000 (6/15)
Chase Amazon Prime - $12,300 (2/20)
Amex Blue Cash Preferred - $17,300 (4/21)
US Bank Cash+ - $2,000 (5/21)
BofA Cash Rewards - $16,000 (5/21)

Other loans:
Auto loan - $26,000 (8/13) paid off (8/17)
Mortgage (joint) - $442,000 (11/20)
Personal loan - $18,000 (11/20)

Age of oldest account: 9 yrs, 2 mo
Average age: 2 yrs, 8 mo (doesn't include CSP)

Income: $91k (myself only, not household)

For fun, I asked if I could use the same hard pull for a CLI for the Amazon card. She checked and said it would be an additional hard pull so I said nevermind lol. Into the garden I go until I'm 4/24 again Smiley Happy

Edit (6/11): Chase got back to me this morning. They confirmed I'll get the additional 20k points added once I spend the $4k in 3 months for the original 80k SUB. Woohoo!

Great sl and congrats! Thank you for those data points. I don't believe they use vantage scores, but based on your clean profile, utilization and inquiries it seems like you have very solid scores.
