CSP approval!!!

Just went into the branch (because I had an in branch pre-approval and I was at 5/24) and applied for the CSP and was approved for $20,200 @ 12.74% APR (This doesn't matter as I ALWAYS PIF).

I'm elated right now!

I just hope Chase doesn't take AA against me as this is my 5th new card in 3 months.

Does anyone know if a pre-approval bypasses a HP? I just realized that I didn't get any notifications from credit karma or experian about a new HP...

I just checked and no new HP on any of the bureaus, but the new card is in my Chase account!

Not mad about that at all, just not sure if it's normal.

As far as I know, pre-approvals do no bypass. You will still get the HP. It can take up to 24hrs for it to show...maybe 48. I have had INQs not show up for that long.

Interesting... Literally EVERY other HP I've ever had notified me within 5 seconds of approval.

Unless you got lucky. But I would give it till Tuesday since its the weekend. That 12.74% APR though, how? I thought the minimum was 16.74%?

The minimum IS 16.74%! I was Pre-aporoved for the card at 12.74%!

I'd be more excited about that if I actually carried balances lol!

It's my lowest APR card now tho!

Awesome! I seen your other post and how you were debating on applying, glad you did especially with a decent 20k SL approval!  Did you have any other Chase cards prior to this and what were their limits?
